Membership is open to individuals whose work or interests include developing, marketing, or administering charitable planned gifts. Our membership includes professionals at all stages of their charitable giving careers and all facets of our profession.

Those individuals include:

  • Nonprofit CEOs and executive directors
  • Nonprofit board members and trustees
  • Fundraising consultants
  • Attorneys
  • Accountants
  • Financial planners
  • Trust officers
  • Insurance and real estate professionals
  • Other financial services professionals and donor advisors

All members subscribe to the Model Standards of Practice for the Charitable Gift Planner.


Membership Options

The Northern Ohio Association of Charitable Gift Planners offers an annual individual membership, which is renewed each year on your anniversary date. You may choose Full Membership (National and Local) or Local Only Membership. When you join or renew, you will receive access to your member benefits. NOCGP membership is available to individuals interested in charitable gift planning.

We invite multiple members of an organization to join NOCGP, although we do not offer organizational memberships or discounts on multiple individual memberships. All members subscribe to the Model Standards of Practice for the Charitable Gift Planner.

  • Council Only Dues: Only $100 annually
  • Full Dues: $295 annually (National & Local)

In a region long known as one of the most generous in the nation, the Northern Ohio Planned Giving Council is the only local organization that brings together philanthropic planning professionals from all relevant specialties to learn, partner and inspire each other.

As a member of the Northern Ohio Charitable Gift Planners, you will join a select group of professionals who work daily with charitable gift plans. We are dedicated to improving the quality of philanthropic planning in Northern Ohio.
